Been having a back and forth e-mail conversation with an old friend of mine who edits a Catholic publication. We’ve been out of touch for a while, but he contacted me yesterday with some interest in my writing, and I cooked something up for him and sent it over tonight.
No guarantees yet, but it looks like it has a good prospect of publication at some point. One of my big goals this year (definitely in the top three) is to get my work published in a professional venue. I am not typically a goal setter (or goal accomplisher) so I’m excited at this prospect, even though the fat lady hasn’t sung. If anything, it’s encouraged me to think more seriously about the prospects.
If anything happens with it, I’ll let you know.

well, I can certainly see how reading OP would lead one to great and new personal, spiritual and philosophical revelations and life changing epiphanies, but I thought more like,
you know,
I’d like to write for them too maybe.
