Will Write for Food

While I’m waiting for the huge payday from my Inside Catholic piece to come in, I thought I’d put in a little plug for myself. I’ve had a taste of the good life - the writer’s life - and it’s crack, baby. Stone cold, rock cocaine.

I used to write for work quite a lot more than I do now. Corporate blogging, mostly, sometimes in my own name and more often ghost writing for executives who probably wonder why the kids are so into this whole new media scene.

Opportunties for me to practice my craft have been few and far between of late, and while I love pouring my energy into the pages of this blog, I can’t buy a single beer with the revenue it generates. If anything, blogging is a negative cashflow enterprise, as it takes time away from doing other, more economically productive activities.

If you’re looking for some good copy, a feature article, or some consulting work on your new business blog, I’m happy to freelance the night away. Just drop me a line on the contact page, and I’ll have my people call your people.

Seriously. Or I’m going to post more pictures of Portugese riot police in Batman armor.
