Earthquake in China Buries Students; Casualties Unknown

I complain regularly about the Chinese government, but I have a deep appreciation and respect for the Chinese people. They’ve put up with a hell of a lot since Mao came to power, and will continue to do so as long as Communists run the country.

Today, they’re having to deal with a more powerful force - an earthquake measuring a whopping 7.8 on the richter scale. People are buried, casualty numbers are unknown, and it seems the Chinese could use our prayers, along with those in Burma.

It appears that it’s catastrophe season again.

Why are we shocked to hear the number of people killed in natural disasters/accidents etc, while we go on with our life as nothing happened when our generation continue killing innocent children in their mother’s womb. Countries and governments legalise this killing stating that they want to control population.China was a leading advocate fo this.
Look at the effect of trying to control population. Now China is short of a Million or more workforce in their factories.Add natural disasters to this.

Statistics on Abortions in the United States alone
Total number of abortions in the U.S. since 1973: 48 million +
    Abortions per year: 1,200,000
    Abortions per day: 3,288
    Abortions per hour: 137
    9 abortions every 4 minutes
    1 abortion every 26 seconds

Fr. Frank Pavone, National Director of Priests for Life, recently posted two videos on YouTube in which he describes and demonstrates the two most common abortion procedures, using plastic fetal models, the actual instruments of abortion, and the words found in medical textbooks and court testimony.

You can view these videos at:

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=us_y9GP_-DA (Dismemberment abortion)

    http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=QBOAPleF1t0 (Suction abortion).

These videos are part of a new project called, “Is This What You Mean?” It aims to educate the public about the nature of abortion and to challenge public officials and candidates who support the legality of abortion to admit what it is. A full description of the project is at http://www.priestsforlife.org/action/abortion-procedure-revealed.htm.
Also watch the song “ Mama” on youtube which I wrote sang and composed. Below is the link

    Jose,

I appreciate your comments, but I’m getting really tired of people posting the Fr. Pavone video boilerplate on my blog. This also isn’t a place to hawk your videos.

If you want to contribute to the discussion, fine. If you want to post linkspam - even to Catholic stuff - I’ll just add your name to the comment filter.
