I just wrapped up an pre-taped interview with Son Rise Morning Show host Brian Patrick of Sacred Heart Radio. The topic was recommended summer reading, and I am long-winded enough that they only had time for three of my five picks.

I think much more clearly in writing, but I enjoy these interviews. That makes it a bit frustrating for me because I tend to get scatterbrained when I’m on the spot. You would think, considering that I double-majored in Radio and TV production and Theology in college, that I could tackle Catholic radio show with some proficiency. (I even had a radio show of my own for a couple semesters.)

And yet, I can’t seem to help feeling like I’m rambling. Go figure. This is the second time they’ve had me on, so hopefully with practice I will improve.

At any rate, the show should be on some time next week. I’ll be on vacation, but I imagine I’ll be around a computer, so hopefully I can get the audio posted once I get a copy.
