The free man owns himself. He can damage himself with either eating or drinking; he can ruin himself with gambling. If he does he is certainly a damn fool, and he might possibly be a damned soul; but if he may not, he is not a free man any more than a dog. — G.K. Chesterton, Broadcast talk 6-11-35
Not to mention that the Superfriends/Dracula story made more sense to me than the other two did. That clip contained decidedly less fantasy than the first two.
Yep Steve, you hit the nail on the head. I was just about ready to say that the vampirism was more believable than the other two. Although, the Jehovah’s Witness one was rather entertaining…with all the screaming and peril and whatnot.
The Mormon one was the certainly best - Israelites dressed as Romans in Ecaudor vs. Native Americans in a battle to the death - God’s that get to rule over their own planets and have all those wives and make “BILLIONS” of spirit children - sitting on a panel with Elohim, Jesus and Joseph Smith…. Justice League ain’t got nothing on that! I was willing to go along with the Vampirism until I found out there was Bat Makeup involved - come on, who’s gonna believe there is such a thing as “Bat Makeup”???
Anyone else notice the “by the power of Greyskull!” imagery in the JW video yet??
Pastor Micah+ spent some of his homily Sunday preaching against the notion of true religion as “worship God the right way so He won’t kill you,” and I was wondering where he got that idea. Now I know…
Didn’t realise vampirism is a religion.
Well, it was explained in the same style. I was just trying to stick to a theme.

Is it me, or does Superman look like Al Gore?
With or without the “bat makeup”?
(First Robin, now bat makeup in a compact…something fishy is going on with millionaire “womanizer” Bruce Wayne’s alter ego….)
I want to hand Dracula an inhaler.
Oh, and he seems more of a campire than a vampire, if you catch my drift.

I also love in the Mormon video how he just shows up at Mary’s door with that ominous knock. The Annunciation it was not.
Eoin,
I was waiting for a Barry White voiceover: “Hey baby…”
