Since we’ve been having an obnoxious number of problems lately, I’ve removed all the plugins and reinstalled them, even patching in some new ones. Hopefully this will resolve the issues we’ve been having where you see nothing but a header or a footer. That problem has struck totally at random and I’ve been mystified as to what is causing it.

UPDATE: I’ve added a quotes section to the top of the left sidebar, a poll feature (probably short lived) to the right one, and a WYSIWYG editor to the comments. There are a few other tweaks you probably won’t notice as well.

Please let me know if you start running into problems again, so I can try to get it fixed. I keep thinking I have the problem licked and then it comes back again.
