Steve Skojec

Hi, my name is Steve, and this is my site.

Here’s my story in a nutshell: I left my job, my life, my family and my friends in Washington, DC to join my wife and kids in Arizona to take care of my father-in-law – who fell seriously ill last summer – and manage his businesses. Almost a year later, my father-in-law is better, and while there’s still work to do, it’s time for me to make a new start. I’ve worked in a variety of jobs since graduating from college in 2001, trying to find my niche, but nothing ever hit the spot. With nothing to hold me back any more and time on my hands, I’m focusing my efforts on the things I love – the creative arts – and I’m determined to turn my devotion to these pursuits into my life’s work.

I am a freelance writer and photographer, and a graphic design enthusiast. Up until now, I’ve only occasionally been paid to do these things. I thought it was time to build a business around them.
